Simplifying algebraic expressions. Solving equations and word problems involving linear and quadratic polynomials, rational expressions, rational exponents and radicals. Graphing linear and quadratic functions. This course requires that the student furnish their own TI-83 or TI-84 PLUS graphing calculator. Prerequisites: Minimum grade of ?ÄúC?Äù in EBS 120 or satisfactory course placement assessment scores. This course does not count toward an A.S., A.A., A.G.S or A.A.S. degree to fulfill a math requirement.
